Tina Nelson, Administrative Assistant, was born in 1963 in Cannonville, Oregon. She lived in both states of Oregon and Washington during her childhood. In 1981 she graduated from high school in Coquille, Oregon and then enrolled in Oregon Institue of Technology in alamath Falls, Oregon. She moved to Alaska in 1983 working as a pharmacy technician at Longs Drug Stores, where she met her husband, Wayne. They have been married for 18 years and have a son Jeffery, age 17, who will graduate in May 2012 from Chugiak High School. They have two German Shepards, Ruger and Tundra Rose, ages 9. 

Tina attended UAA, earning her certificate as a Dental Assistant in 1990. She has worked for over 20 years in the dental field as an assistant in general practice, orthodontics and in front office management.

She enjoys bowling, camping, hiking, biking skiing, both cross country and alpine. They are avid Seattle Seahawks fans!!!  She loves living in Chugiak and the small town experience. She is grateful for getting the opportunity to work in Eagle River with a great group of people who are fun, friendly and professional.
